Paragliding + hang-gliding High above lake Traunsee and Gmunden

Experience a boundless sense of freedom in paragliding and hang-gliding in the third dimension above the roofs of Gmunden and over Lake Traunsee.

Ascent with the Grünberg cable car and short 10 minutes walk to the starting ramp, located directly next to Grünbergalm.

Already at the start you can enjoy the fantastic panoramic view and fly over the Traunsee and Gmunden.

With ideal thermal conditions you can even fly up to the ' Wächer des Salzkammergutes - the Traunstein mountain.

Combined tickets for paragliders

Paragliders and hang-gliders can use the Grünberg cable car all the day long incl. tansport of paraglider and hang glider with the favourable day-pass.

Tariff day-pass (ascent) 2023:

Adult = € 40.50 (Online: € 39.40)
Youth = € 33.20 (Online: € 32.30)
Child= € 22.30 (Online: € 21.70)

Youth: 2004 - 2006 / Child: 2007 - 2016

Together with a professional tandem pilot, you take off in just a few steps on your unique tandem flight. Glide almost weightlessly through the air and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Traunsee and the surrounding mountains. Whether young or old, a paragliding tandem flight is an unforgettable experience for children and the elderly. With tandem paragliding, you fly as a passenger with an experienced pilot who controls the paraglider and gives you all the necessary instructions. Previous experience is not necessary, as the pilot explains everything and takes care of everything. Flights usually last about 15-20 minutes, but can be longer depending on weather conditions and thermals.
