A photo shoot with children on the mountain? No problem with good organization!
Motivated for an excursion 6 kids, 4 adults and a toddler with a stroller took the first cable car up to Grünberg at 9 am. The gondola ride already gave us an idea that we would be in for a turbulent day.
Once at the top, the first thing they did was explore the adventure playground and the low ropes course. Wild slides, courageous climbs and mutual encouragement were on the agenda. The kids had already worked themselves to the bone here, so it was no surprise that the first break had to be taken.
When the clock finally showed 10 o'clock, the entire group already stood in front of the entrance to the summer toboggan run. The excitement of the kids, who were trying the Grünberg toboggan run for the first time, was almost unbearable. After a short trial and error, it was clear that the location would not be changed so quickly.
Thanks to the summer temperatures, a hike to the lake Laudachsee was finally tempting - with the cooling off waiting there in the back of their minds.
Along the way we walked, talked, did gymnastics, climbing and, of course, complained.
Arrived at lake Laudachsee, everyone enjoyed the cool refreshment and lunch at the Ramsaualm to be able to enjoy the following bath in the mountain lake even more. Therefore, picnic blanket, towels and bathing suit could not be missing in the backpack, of course.
Now one could assume that the way back to the mountain station of the cable car was not quite so relaxed. On the opposite: while the adults were already showing the first signs of fatigue, the kids were still motivated to explore the treetop walk. After putting all the stations through their paces, a fun slide down the observation tower was a must. At the end, everyone was rewarded with a delicious ice cream at the Grünbergalm.
