High up on the Grünberg at almost 1,004 metres is the Grünberg-Flitzer summer toboggan run, which offers fun and leisure activities for the whole family.
Over a total length of 1.4 km, you have the opportunity to ride part of the way down the mountain over rapid bends and long straights and then be pulled back up again comfortably with the help of the lift.
While children between the ages of 3 and 6 still ride between the legs of a parent (at the front) on the summer toboggan run, children aged 7 and over can whizz down the mountain on their own.
NOTE: The length of the summer toboggan run does NOT extend into the valley. After 1.4 km, you will only arrive at the end of the summer toboggan run, from where you will be pulled back up the mountain in a lift.

A photo trap awaits you in one of the fast bends. With just one click, you can get a great souvenir of your adventurous ride. At the photo booth under the stairs at the entrance to the summer toboggan run, you can choose your photo and buy it for € 5.00.
There is also a QR code on the souvenir photo. If you scan this with your mobile phone, you will receive the picture to download and a video of you whizzing through the picture. You can share this directly on your social media accounts. #grünberg @gruenberg.info

FAQs about the Grünberg Flitzer
Where can I buy tickets for the summer toboggan run?
Tickets can be purchased directly at the entrance to the summer toboggan run at the ticket office. It is also possible to purchase Grünberg-Flitzer vouchers in our voucher shop.
Is the summer toboggan run open in all weathers?
The Grünberg Flitzer is closed when it rains. If you are unsure about this, please contact us in advance.
Can I take the summer toboggan run down the mountain to the valley station instead of the cable car?
No! The summer toboggan run is only 1.4 km long and ends in the middle of the mountain. There you are comfortably pulled back up the mountain by a lift.
What happens to bags during the ride?
Backpacks and bags are not permitted during the ride on the Grünberg Flitzer. These can be stowed in the designated area next to the summer toboggan run. The operator accepts no liability!
What is the age regulation for using the summer toboggan run?
Children between the ages of 3 and 6 may only use the Grünberg-Flitzer together with an accompanying person by travelling in the front of the toboggan. The accompanying person must be at least 16 years old. Children aged 7 and over may use the summer toboggan run alone. Infants under the age of 3 are not permitted to ride the summer toboggan run!
Can I take my dog on the summer toboggan run?
No. Dogs are not permitted on the toboggan run!
Is the 10 runs ticket valid for the entire season?
Yes, these do not have to be used all at once and are valid for the entire 2024 summer season.
Please observe the local regulations and follow the instructions of the staff!

Children born in 2018 and younger are free when accompanied by a parent.
Coach and tour groups: The group rates apply to groups of 20 people or more, every 21st person is free.
Tickets for the summer toboggan run are available at the ticket office of the summer toboggan run on Grünberg (starting area of the summer toboggan run).
The ride on the Grünberg cable car is not included in the summer toboggan run rates.
The Grünberg summer toboggan run offers space for 1 person per toboggan (single-seater).
