On 1 August 2026, the Grünberg on Lake Traunsee will become a vibrant destination for the whole family. At the Family Festival on the Grünberg, you can look forward to a day full of games, fun and nature – perfect for your family outing in the Salzkammergut.
With views of Lake Traunsee and the surrounding mountains, you’ll experience what makes Grünberg a family-friendly mountain: plenty of outdoor activity, child-friendly activities and relaxed spots to linger.
Should the weather not cooperate on 1 August, the festival will take place on 8 August 2026.
What to expect at the Family FestivalThroughout the day, the Grünberg transforms into a huge stage for families:
a varied programme from 10 am to 5 pm.
