The Laudachsee is the most popular excursion destination for hikers and mountaineers on the Grünberg. The mountain lake is located at 894 metres above sea level on the way from Grünberg to Traunstein.
The wonderful hiking trail on wide forest roads from the Grünberg cable car mountain station to Laudachsee is ideal for seniors, families with small children and pushchairs.
From the mountain station of the Grünberg cable car, you can reach the lake Laudachsee on foot in around 1 hour.
The hiking trails around the Laudachsee are very well marked and ideal for a short hike for seniors and families with children.
The Laudachsee is also the starting point for mountain hikes to the imposing Traunstein at 1,691 metres.

This idyllic circular trail leads across meadows, paths and small bridges along the shores of the lake Laudachsee and is perfect for a relaxing walk.
After circling the Laudachsee lake, mountain fans of all ages can stop for refreshments at the Ramsaualm and enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Traunstein.
Or soak up the sun at the mountain lake, cool off your feet and relax and enjoy nature before heading back to the Grünberg calbe car mountain station.

The shimmering green, crystal-clear and refreshing mountain lake attracts visitors in the hot summer months of July and August with water temperatures of up to +20 °C. Many hikers look forward to a dip in the cool water.
