Lake Laudachsee is one of the favourite excursions for hikers and mountaineers on Grünberg mountain. The mountain lake at an altitude of 894 meters on the trail Grünberg to Traunstein.

The hike on gorgeous nature trails (broad forest roads) form the mountain station of Grünberg cable car to lake Laudachsee are ideal for best agers, families with small children and pushchairs.

There are countless well marked trails around lake Laudachsee, ideal for a small hike for seniors and families.

Lake Laudachsee is also the starting point for alpine tours up or around the impressive Traunstein at 1,691 meters.

Hiking tour

An easy hike from the cable car montain station to lake Laudachsee, along the nature trail takes about one hour.

Tip: Don't forget your swimsuit

The green shinning, crystal-clear and refreshing mountain lake attracts in the hot summer months of July and August with its water temperatures of up to + 20 ° C. Many hikers enjoy the jump into the cooling waters of lake Laudachsee.

The idyllic circular trail leads along meadows, paths and small bridges along the shore of lake Laudachse and invites you for a relaxing walk.

After the hike restaurant Ramsaualm invites big and small mountain fans for a stop off to strengthen themselves and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view on the Traunstein.

Or soak up the sun at the mountain lake, cool your feet once again and enjoy the nature before returning to the mountain station of the Grünberg cable car.
